The Challenge

Creating a digital experience that matched the brand

Rogue Studio is a fashion-focused D2C brand built around expressive graphic T-shirts and distinctive raised 3D-print designs. The product is the differentiator — which is exactly what makes the digital problem harder than it looks.

In D2C fashion, almost every brand competes on the same platforms, in the same formats, against the same scroll. What separates one brand from the next is rarely the ad budget. It is whether the thing that makes the product worth buying survives the journey from a phone screen to a checkout page. A raised 3D print is a tactile product detail. Flattened into a standard product photo on a template storefront, it simply disappears — and with it, the reason someone would pay a premium for it.

Where the gaps were

With a growing product catalogue and an e-commerce-led business model, Rogue Studio’s digital presence needed to carry the personality of the brand while keeping the shopping journey simple enough that a first-time visitor could move from a social post to a completed order without losing interest.

The requirement was never a single deliverable. The website needed ongoing development and management as collections changed and the catalogue grew. Social needed a steady flow of content that actually showed products rather than just announcing them. Campaigns needed to point at the right products with the right message. And all three needed to agree with each other.

That last point is where most D2C brands quietly lose money. When the creative on social, the promise in the ad and the experience on the website are produced by different people to different briefs, a customer notices the seam immediately. They clicked expecting one thing, arrived at another, and left. The spend was real; the sale was not.

Why this is difficult in fashion specifically

Fashion catalogues move constantly. New designs, new drops, seasonal ranges and sell-outs mean the website is never finished. A site built as a fixed, one-time project starts decaying the moment the next collection arrives — and every update becomes a negotiation with a developer.

Fashion is also judged visually and instantly. A customer does not read a specification; they look, and decide in about a second. That puts unusual weight on product presentation, on how collections are grouped, and on how quickly a visitor reaches something they might actually want.

What needed to be solved

  • A website able to present a fast-changing catalogue of graphic and 3D-print products without a rebuild every season.

  • Product presentation that communicated the texture and detail of raised 3D-print designs, which ordinary product photography flattens.

  • A consistent social presence working as product discovery, not just brand posting.

  • Campaigns connected to the real website experience, so paid traffic landed somewhere built to convert it.

  • Ongoing technical support — new pages, fixes, layout issues, migration — handled without the founder project-managing developers.

  • One consistent brand story across every touchpoint, so there was no seam between the ad and the storefront.

How we framed the brief

Rather than treating this as a website project with marketing attached, Fameweb’s role was to bring every digital touchpoint into one workflow — the website and its technical requirements, social media content, and campaign execution — all answering to a single question: does a person who discovers Rogue Studio today have a clear path to buying?

What We Did

We brought the brand’s website, social presence and campaigns into one connected digital workflow.

Our approach

The engagement ran for six months. Instead of running website work, content and advertising as three separate workstreams with three separate reporting lines, we operated them as one system with shared priorities.

The practical advantage of that structure shows up when something underperforms. If a campaign is not converting, the cause is often the landing page or the offer rather than the targeting — and when the same team owns the page, that gets fixed in days instead of becoming a dispute about whose problem it is. Owning the full chain removed the handoffs where accountability usually leaks.

01 — Website Revamp

We revamped the Rogue Studio website to create a more structured and product-focused digital experience.

The priority was the path from landing to product: how collections are grouped, how a visitor moves between them, and how quickly they reach something they might buy. Most of the work was reduction — removing steps, decisions and distractions between arriving and finding a product.

Product and collection presentation was reworked so the catalogue reads as a considered range rather than an unsorted feed of designs. That distinction matters commercially: a visitor who perceives a curated range browses, while one who perceives a dump of files leaves.

At the same time we kept the visual personality intact. This is the part that templated rebuilds get wrong — a fashion brand that ends up looking like a generic storefront has lost the exact thing that earned the click. The website needed to work not only as a storefront but as an extension of the brand identity, and as the place where the 3D-print technology and design-led positioning are explained properly rather than hinted at.

02 — Social Media Management

Social became the primary way Rogue Studio presented its products and personality online, so we built it around showing the product rather than talking about it. Across the engagement this produced more than 100 social media creatives.

The volume was deliberate. In a visual category, consistency of output is what builds familiarity, and familiarity is what makes a later ad feel like a brand rather than an interruption. A feed that posts occasionally cannot do that work no matter how good each post is.

Content was planned across:

  • Product showcases — individual designs given enough space to be seen clearly, rather than crowded into collages.

  • Lifestyle-led creative — the product worn and in context, which is how fashion is actually judged.

  • 3D-print detail — close-range creative built specifically to show the raised texture that defines the range.

  • Reels and motion — movement and fabric behaviour, which a still image cannot carry.

  • Product-focused campaign creative — assets built to be promoted, not organic posts repurposed as ads.

  • Brand communication — the positioning and point of view behind the designs.

The result was a consistent visual presence around a distinctive product range, with the feed functioning as a browsable extension of the catalogue rather than a separate channel with its own agenda.

03 — Campaign Management

We managed digital campaigns designed around product visibility and e-commerce growth, running and optimising more than 20 campaigns across the engagement.

The approach was deliberately unglamorous. Identify which products were worth spending behind. Build creative specifically for those products. Point the traffic at the matching page. Keep the message consistent from ad to landing page. Then watch where people stop.

Where a product was not converting, the first suspect was the page or the offer rather than the audience. Because the same team owned the website, that was a fix rather than a recommendation — which is the main reason running these together outperforms running them separately.

Rather than treating advertising as a standalone activity, campaigns were connected with the website and the content being produced, so each channel reinforced the others instead of competing for credit.

04 — Website Development & New Pages

As the catalogue and business requirements evolved, the website needed continuous development rather than a one-off build. More than 10 new pages were developed over the engagement.

New page development
Creating new pages and sections as business and content requirements changed — collection launches, brand pages, information pages. Each was built to sit inside the existing design language rather than beside it, so the site stayed coherent as it grew.

Website management
Handling ongoing updates and improvements, so changes shipped when the business needed them instead of waiting for a quarterly development cycle. For a brand releasing new designs continuously, that responsiveness is the difference between a site that reflects the current range and one that is always a season behind.

Debugging
Identifying and resolving issues affecting functionality, layouts and the user experience. This is the unglamorous work that quietly protects conversion — broken layouts and small functional faults rarely get reported by customers, who simply leave instead.

Migration
Supporting website migration requirements while maintaining continuity across the digital experience, so the brand never went dark or lost structure during a technical change.

The Outcome

One connected digital presence instead of three separate efforts.

Over six months, Rogue Studio moved from running website work, content and advertising as separate activities to operating them as one system. More than 100 creatives, 20+ managed campaigns and 10+ new pages were produced in that period.

The more useful outcome is that they were produced against the same plan. Output volume is easy to buy; coherence is not, and coherence is what makes each piece of output worth more than it would be on its own.

100+ social media creatives

A sustained content engine rather than occasional posting — enough consistent output to build familiarity with the range and keep the feed working as product discovery.

20+ campaigns managed

Campaigns run and optimised against products and pages we also controlled, so underperformance could be traced and fixed rather than only reported.

10+ new pages developed

The site grew with the catalogue, inside the existing design system, without a rebuild for each new requirement.

Stronger Brand Presence

A more consistent digital identity across website and social media, so the brand a customer meets on social is the brand they find on the site.

Improved Product Presentation

A more structured way to showcase a growing range of graphic and 3D-print products, with the raised-print detail given creative built specifically to show it.

Continuous Website Development

Page creation, improvements, debugging and migration support handled as a running service rather than a series of separate projects with separate scopes.

Connected Marketing

Social content, paid campaigns and the e-commerce website aligned around the same product and brand experience, so spend landed on pages built to convert it.

Where it goes next

With the website structure, content engine and campaign process established, the brand can add collections and scale spend without rebuilding the foundation each time — which is what makes the next stage of growth cheaper than the last.
